Vason, 4 July2017 – The 67th edition of the Trento-Bondone took place last weekend. Ferrari team drivers notched up three victories and three podiums in a race counts towards both the European Championship and the Italian Hill Climb Championship.
European Championship. Lucio Peruggini again dominated the weekend, winning the European Championship race to Vason, the Monte Bondone crossing, in 10:42:69. He was three seconds faster than the first of his rivals, Italy’s Giuseppe Ghezzi with the Porsche of Autorlando Sport. Francesco “Ragastas” Ferretti came fifth in the F430 of Team Bora.
Italian Championship Peruggini also won the Italian Championship in which “Ragastas” took second place. The GT Cup class saw another victory for Luca Gaetani with the 458 Challenge EVO of Vimotorsport. The Paduan driver finished over seven seconds ahead of the twin car of Pintarally Motorsport crewed by Dario Baruchelli and the other 458 Challenge EVO of Roberto Ragazzi, competing in the colours of Superchallenge.
Next races. The two championships are not taking a break in July. The European series will resume next week with the Limonowa race in Poland, while the CIVM will continue with the Coppa Selva di Fasano.
